WHEN WEILL DEVs SORT OUT THE CHEATING AI ??
Game is fun at the beginning but then from level 40 turns into a foocken grind fest where your progression depends on whether you are lucky and a mob will drop you a armour or weapon schematic book or do you have to grind for it for hours.

BUT THE WORST OFFENDER ARE the CHEATING BOSSES that during a fight decide to fore no reason run out of your screen and RESET... this is so infuriating.

Other scummy moves that devs gave the bosses but not you:
- immunity to fire ( the Dunley Farmlands is rife with AOE fire attacks ) that slows your progression and is there to annoy the fook out of the player
- bosses moving faster then the player
- bosses having moves that allow them to close the distance to the player in a second despite player being hidden behind cover

This is so bad and prevelant that for above reasons i will not be recommending this game to people that i know as this game turns from fun into a korean mmo ♥♥♥♥♥♥ grindfest that doesn't respect players time.

first they need to look at cheating players, cheating AI is last of your concerns.

I mean how fast are you trying to get through the game?? There is so much going on in this game.. when I did my first iron run I looted the 3-4 chests in there and got two books, you do have to be more careful with the mobs.. but grinding is part of the game. Get servants up and running. My servants bring me quite a few books when they are out and about.

The boss tethering issue.. I've see threads about this before. You can pull a boss off the road into a nearby field and fight them. I've never had a boss just "run away" unless I pulled them too far. They are not designed to follow you forever.

I have my moments where I shake my head, losing a 100% blood to a fire archer or a patrol coming by while I'm fighting a boss, but for the most part I am really enjoying the game and so are my friends that I got into it.

I guess don't play? and hope they fix all these "issues" for you.. I doubt they will.. because they aren't serious but hey.. one can hope I guess.

Sounds like you're just bad at it.

Faaak cheating players and PvP in general in this game as it is a ♥♥♥♥ idea

All we need really is the END of requiring merciless, or equiv, weapons to farm next tier. We already require killing bosses for next tech upgrades, so why do we also need a random plan to drop XD (double gated).

I agree on the RNG of research, we should be able to pick which group of research to discover a random tech from, so i can pick consumable and will get a random consumable, it would make the endgame much more palatable.

I think the boss mechanics work fine, some roaming bosses can be a pain during daylight and reset but thats just bad planning in those circumstances, be aware of where the boss spawns(for static bosses) and where you begin the fight(for roaming bosses) and remain within 50meters(just dash straight through them if you feel you are getting near the limit)

I like your comment and agree the the RENG on the tech tree is a bit of a bad decision... however please if you can give me some pointers then how to deal with roaming Vincent The Frostbringer that drops jugs with burning oil that cover nearly 2/3 of the screen and if you dont dash away you loose a lot of HP and if you dash away the boss decides to abandon the fight and resets to full health??

PS.... yes i know i am bad at the game

The games concept is really fun but as i play i am starting to discover more and more
mechanics that are implemented just to slow the players progress and expand the the play time ( but not in the fun way ) akin to asian MMOs or mobile games. And unfortunately none of the reviews that i watched mentioned this fact.

Keep him at range, but still in the same area where you began the fight. Try to avoid as much as you can without dash reserving it for when its really needed, only melee him as a counter attack style quick extra burst of damage then get away from him again, use terrain if needed to avoid stuff. He is one of the easier bosses once you learn his moves.

Kiting most bosses around a rock is ideal.. Vincent is a lot easier around a big rock, you peek hit with spells then continue to kite around the object.. rinse and repeat.. it will take a bit but he will die.

I do kite him around the rock or a tree and hit him with spells but all of the sudden when he is about a 1/3 health he just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ offf to do his own thing and this happened to me few times already

I enjoy/ed the game, you pointed out the very things that are frustrating me. We will always get the "get gud" comments. i do have the time to play 24/7 if i want and no i'm not a bum or on the "dole" i'm retired. When the fun goes i go, it's no big deal for me i'll just play another game. i have had more than my monies worth even if i never play again, it will get a thumbs up from me, i guess it's just beyond my ability.

The fun is still there you just gotta play 0-60 doing plenty of pvp over 2 days then move onto another fresh server, the endgame is not fun, its a grindfest that is entirely dependant on RNG. [/quote]

Truer words could not have been said about the endgame in V rising.... and thats faaaken depressing as i like this game for the solo PvE experience ( for pvp i'm more of a rust or call of doody enjoyer )

Respect for gaming at the retirement age.

V rising is fun and im sure the bosses can be beat even by a inexperienced player with enough time dedicated to grinding the scrolls to get better equipment from the study/workbench... unfortunately for me this tactic is off-putting after a while ( as i dont mind grinding to an extent ) as i dont see myself grinding through the whole late game.
