The boss tethering issue.. I've see threads about this before. You can pull a boss off the road into a nearby field and fight them. I've never had a boss just "run away" unless I pulled them too far. They are not designed to follow you forever.
I have my moments where I shake my head, losing a 100% blood to a fire archer or a patrol coming by while I'm fighting a boss, but for the most part I am really enjoying the game and so are my friends that I got into it.
I guess don't play? and hope they fix all these "issues" for you.. I doubt they will.. because they aren't serious but hey.. one can hope I guess.
Faaak cheating players and PvP in general in this game as it is a ♥♥♥♥ idea
I like your comment and agree the the RENG on the tech tree is a bit of a bad decision... however please if you can give me some pointers then how to deal with roaming Vincent The Frostbringer that drops jugs with burning oil that cover nearly 2/3 of the screen and if you dont dash away you loose a lot of HP and if you dash away the boss decides to abandon the fight and resets to full health??
PS.... yes i know i am bad at the game
The games concept is really fun but as i play i am starting to discover more and more
mechanics that are implemented just to slow the players progress and expand the the play time ( but not in the fun way ) akin to asian MMOs or mobile games. And unfortunately none of the reviews that i watched mentioned this fact.
Kiting most bosses around a rock is ideal.. Vincent is a lot easier around a big rock, you peek hit with spells then continue to kite around the object.. rinse and repeat.. it will take a bit but he will die.
I do kite him around the rock or a tree and hit him with spells but all of the sudden when he is about a 1/3 health he just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ offf to do his own thing and this happened to me few times already
Please dont get me wrong i do enjoy the game i just wish some boss AI issues were resolved alongside the grind progression gameloop as i dont have the pleasure of playing this game for 20 hours a day

I enjoy/ed the game, you pointed out the very things that are frustrating me. We will always get the "get gud" comments. i do have the time to play 24/7 if i want and no i'm not a bum or on the "dole" i'm retired. When the fun goes i go, it's no big deal for me i'll just play another game. i have had more than my monies worth even if i never play again, it will get a thumbs up from me, i guess it's just beyond my ability.
Truer words could not have been said about the endgame in V rising.... and thats faaaken depressing as i like this game for the solo PvE experience ( for pvp i'm more of a rust or call of doody enjoyer )
Respect for gaming at the retirement age.
V rising is fun and im sure the bosses can be beat even by a inexperienced player with enough time dedicated to grinding the scrolls to get better equipment from the study/workbench... unfortunately for me this tactic is off-putting after a while ( as i dont mind grinding to an extent ) as i dont see myself grinding through the whole late game.
