Most likely people going to their own servers. I know several people who are just running servers on their own machines.
To kill bosses.
Even when Josh does dislike a game, he still comments on the positives and always tells people to give them a try, so I'm not sure where your opinion of him came from.
I think it is certainly an issue for PVE servers especially when decay rate is set low and you can't get rid of old abandoned castles for new players to join.
But in PVP, I think it "rubs both ways", because it seems to be both a major part of and driving force for PVP and a reason for people quitting.
I think people lose their castle and most of their stuff along with it and just leave either for a new server or a new game altogether.
I know there are special chests to keep you best stuff in, but maybe something more is needed?
Maybe when you raid a base, and loot an object, you don't get to loot everything in there, just a portion of it and the rest somehow goes back to the castle owner?
The amount of stuff that doesn't get looted could be a server setting.
Raiding is already hard if both clans are competent, servants melts golems, explosives glued to a wall too, if its a problem than you got raided while off then play in another server that goes with with your schedule
There is not much game mechanically you can do to solve the PvP.
The issue is and will always be the PvP community itself.
If official PvP servers are to survive, the PvP community will have to adopt some kind of sportsmanship - that, however, is a very long shot.
The hardcore pvp players are absolutely toxic and do everything possible to make other players feel like crap.
Full loot pvp are a completely different fish anyway, those server have x3-x2 loot drop and they wipe every week if not shorter, so you can't make comparation between a regular pvp server and a full loot one.
You mean so people who are willing to grind it get to 'endgame' even faster and push out everyone else? Sounds fun!
Still, those server are completely different fish to regular pvp so dunno why someone would mentioned them as a take in PvP servers as a whole.
Overall V Rising has has tons of content which most survival games sit on player made content. People on PVE will clear content and get bored as most games see this. You do not play a game forever. EA is meant to test the game out and report bugs.
You look at most survival games especially in EA that everytime a content patch is dropped? The servers refill and people leave again when the content is played through. The game isn't dying or dead but you can tell all the newer folks have no clue with that remark.
People actually enjoying the game are too busy playing it? really most of the ♥♥♥♥ posted in steam comes from PvE players who already beated the game and now they have nothing to do that ♥♥♥♥ on everyone.
