What is 'Toggle Equip Mode' in options?

Title says it all, just can't find info about this option and it doesn't seem obvious

That's what lets you press the button for whatever weapon you have in your hand already to switch to just claws for attacks. It's useful when hunting blood at times once you get higher lvl so you don't accidently one shot your target.
Without it you have no way to switch back to your claws.

if you have your weapon equipped just press the hotkey for that weapon again to switch to claws and keep pressing the same hotkey to toggle between claws and that weapon
