Recommended settings for a solo private game?
I really wish there was an official premade settings list for this, but in the mean time what settings would anyone who's done this suggest to make the game more friendly for a solo player?

To be honest i would suggest to not make the game too easy and to not make everything to fast.

So i think good options are max stack size, maybe a bit more ressources for mining 1.2 - 1.5 more castles per player and serveants and space to build for more fun. If you can carry a lot limited teleportation also isnt that big of an issue.

But to be honest - this game probably is 200% more fun in coop.

It's rather hit or miss, down to experimentation. What I definitely always do is enable teleport with items, stack size, general power increase by 0.25, health multiplied a bit, health of enemies increased by 0.15, max castle hearts servants and co, less silver and garlic effectiveness and that's pretty much it. I actually reduced drop rate by mobs a tiny bit since the last patch was a but overkill with certain items.

Can you make these changes once your game world has been created or are you forced to start over?

Teleport with resources, cut the time of hunts by 90%, boost stack size and harvest rates, increased number of castles(you'll be able to build personal teleporters at each later anyway).

Wait you can decrease the time of hunting?? I only saw an option to increase yield..

Yuo can make those changes but you have to go to the appdata>localLow>stunlock studios>v rising>saves>pick game>ServerGameSettin.json folder and manually change them yourself. it is the .json file. open with notepad, make changes and then save.

Ahh didn't think of modifying an ini type file. Thanks.

Why not just make it perma nighttime like every private game player does because they can't stand being burnt by the sun in a vampire game.
personally, I like the sun burning aspect as it plays on being a vampire, btw, if you want to make it more realistic in terms of day and night cycle set the day time length to long with day length being long as well, you'll still have time during night for hunting but it will make it so you have to be very careful with gathering and everything as gathering recklessly can get ya killed easily (nice challenge for base building if you want it)

5x inventory and item teleport are the big ones.
Many of the resource grinds were reduced, so the previous 2x resource mode is kinda the current 1x. Minions are very effective at gathering resources on solo servers, so those settings don't need much tweaking.

Combat difficulty settings add up very fast, and the default settings are fairly equivalent to most game's hard mode. I recommend not going beyond 15-25% more health/damage, if you're looking for something more relaxed.
