I believe the brazier follows the refining rate modifier.. which sucks, because faster is NOT better on it.
Personally I do not use mist braziers at the moment I can get castle walls up. So I rarely need to feed it more than 100 bones to start and then never again.
You know... I want it to constantly cover the outdoor path from the teleport station to the castle.
I found I had to plant trees to do that without wasting bones in the mist braz :(
Plant trees near the teleport or put the teleporter in a 4x4 walled in but no Floor, its always shaded for me that way.
reasoning: its just big enough for the teleporter, and the walls provide cover from the sun UNLESS you are literally dead center on the map (i think the sun flows across an X axis there)
wait a second, how do you get out of the teleport?
