Excuse me? Why the ♥♥♥♥ does he just SPAM summons? I cant even get to him because he constantly spams minions to fight me. No matter how many I kill, he will just spam more as soon as I do it. Is there something I am overlooking? Why does this keep happening? His other abilities werent too bad but the minion ♥♥♥♥ pisses me off.

Just fought him yesterday. If I recall correctly, over the course of the entire fight he spawned minions only a couple times. Maybe his attack patterns are random and you just got unlucky?

He spawns a couple, but if your using copper gear, you'll be fine.

With any of the bosses, make sure you kill the mobs when they spawn, all whilst dodging the bosses attacks. Goreswine can be a pain because of the large AoE attacks, but it's doable.

At that level, make full use of the counter spell and your spacebar dodge. Bothe of these give you heals. The counter heals you when you get hit by arrows or physical attacks (use his mobs as heals if needed) and the dodge gives you health on your first hit after dodging. Use it to dodge close to him or his mobs and hit, then run. Practicing with these skills can get you far and make you quite tanky.

If all else fails, ask someone to help!

tbh if you got a copper sword you can just use the cyclone attack and plow through the summons

you could also simply ignore most of his minions, only kill off the crossbow units and after that return focusing him as all his minions (just like any other bosses minions) will just pop once the boss is downed
i mean it took me a few tries as well but as soon as i stopped trying to focus on his summons and instead focused on actually bringing him down while walking around those slowmotion skeletons he crumbled quite fast^^

Well, having just fought him a short while ago, he doesn't spawn any minions, the skeleton mages in the same area do though, if the fight drags on long enough they'll respawn themselves, but it's not something the boss itself is doing.

This is probably your best bet alongside ranged spells like chaos volley. You either ignore the adds and try and hit the boss with ranged attacks (the adds die when boss gives up) or going through the adds with a lot of AoE and then hit the boss before he gets the mback up again.

Goreswine does not summon minions.. trust me I've killed him like 20 times.. use chaos bolt and just stay nimble.. we is quite easy once you start learning the dodge timing. I use the spear on him man that thing hits like a truck.. now If you mean the summoner.. then use AOE for the ads, I like aftershock and sword Q attack.. they work well together.

I am about to go fight him again. It may not be him who is summoning the minions but something near him is and its rapid. I have the copper sword so hopefully my next time wont be so bad.


Edit: Its the skeleton mages or whatever but still - this is ridiculous. I have all copper weapons, and I even have the merciless copper sword. No matter what I do I cant get rid of all the minions because they keep coming. I will kill a mage or whatever else and they just come back a few seconds later. This is going to be what makes me not want to play anymore lol. I was just going in circles around the alter and I was followed by at least 20 minions. If I killed a few, more would come. If I killed a mage more would come.

I actually found him originally but ended up dying. I went to the wrong area a few times and then I went back and found him. I had to kill all of the skeleton priests first because they did spam a lot of minions but once they died it was easy. Thanks everyone <3

my goreswine and the archer chick lydia or whatever her name is were fighting each other so i just watched then swooped in and got last hit on both then fed on both of them

I hated her fight, simply because it was day when I went to do it. I ended up getting the Alpha Wolf to fight her and then I had some bandits that were fighting her and the Alpha Wolf. I just kept jumping into the shadows and let them fight each other llmao

I thought the same the first time; it was actually the 6 or so mages that were nearby. Goreswine is definitely one where you MUST kill the nearby adds first, then you can take out goreswine at your leisure. He's a pushover once the mages are out of the way. (EDIT: if it wasn't clear, Goreswine doesn't summon any mobs, the skeleton mages do, and summoned mobs despawn when their summoner is killed).

I lured him away from the summoners, and was lucky that the Alpha Wolf was around lol
Watched them beat at each other and just ran in as the wolf dropped.
