I recommend going solo as tutorial and then go PVE/PVP when ready. Servers have a lot of players and they may block some part of the maps that you wont get to see unless you're allowed into their castle.
But you do you!
Bosses scale when multiple people are in the area. It's easier to solo a boss than to do it in a group.
Resources refresh every in-game day. I've rarely ran into another player farming the same things I am.
Any base you make, ALWAYS connect it to a road.
Otherwise, when you transfer items to your new base it'll take a long long tedious run back and fourth 30-60 minutes of your time.
If you are moving a base, you should get most of your materials on site. You should only be moving a few high level materials between the old base and new, if need be.
Pre-plan, fill your inventory with materials for basic refiners (Grinders and Sawmills), teleporter, storage, and small castle building.
Make the base and refiners. Grind local resources to fill refiners.
Teleport back to original base, grab the high level materials, transport them.
Refiners have already given you more materials.
Solo to know what I am doing n looking for. Beat everyone to know tactics n such. With modified stats to speed it up, max item farm, craft speed.
Went online after.
