This game is funded by Tencent so it's a big no for me.
Tencent has been a chinese communist parted led company for decades and it has been expanding its market control over new industries for quite a while. It does not just monitor chinese players' behavior but also steal info from players who have installed the games they funded. Whoever cares about human rights should boycott this game.

No it isn't. Its communist and they have a direct responsibly to give all of your data to their government which is the communist party of China, who uses that data to compete against your home country.

It's depressing living in a society where people think a privately owned megacorporation that gets its money by investing or buying out other companies to profit a handful of profiteers is communism.

I live in a world where people don't know the definitions of words.

That is not a racist statement, it has nothing to do with their race, and everything to do with what the CCP does to its subjects. At this point I'm just gonna write you off as a paid member of the 50 cent army. Keep shilling for your communist masters and trying to dismiss atrocities with whataboutism.

That's not what he's calling communism (if that's what he meant, then yes, he's wrong). I took him to be saying the COMPANY (Tencent) is communist, and as they're controlled by the CCP, they are. There is no such thing as a private company in China. All companies in China are controlled by the CCP. There are no exceptions, and their laws require providing any potentially useful data to the CCP. It is explicitly BECAUSE these companies cannot be trusted and we KNOW what they do, that resulted in the widespread bans on the use of Huawei hardware for any critical infrastructure or military purposes, and likewise the previous military advisories to NOT have TikTok installed on your phone (though at least in the US, this could only be recommendation, not an order).
is communism some bad thing? i dont get it

Communism is an economic / political system without money, without a state, and where all companies are collectively owned and managed directly by the workers.

In what way is Tencent, or China, communist? Where is the overlap?

Judeism is both a religion and an ethnicity. Communism is a economic system and an ideology. It's one of the excuses used for the "not real communism" argument that is so common among so many communists. If you don't like the term, fine, but unless we're in an academic setting look at the clear intent, not the textbook definition (not that even those can really be trusted these days).

As to our 50 cent army member, the US is not and never has been a Democracy, it is a constitutional republic, by design. We dodged the bullet of direct democracy, for the most part, until the 17th Amendment started the accelerated decline of the last century.

And no, talking about the people of China being victims of the CCP is not a racist statement, it has nothing to do with their race. Plenty of non-ethnic Chinese in China that are subject to the same abuses, and they are included in the statement "the Chinese people," same as all races are included in the statement "the American people."

Maybe they monitor people and steal info, but I don't understand the need to also add their communist. It's like saying, "EA is a capitalist party led company that expands its market control over new industries and steals consumer info." Actually, I think I'd prefer the communist version of EA, thank you. I'm buying now.

China is copying the US after WWII. It situated itself as the world's manufacturer, performed massive urban development projects with the hope of future returns, spread influence through economic tactics around the world, and is currently outsourcing its manufacturing and shifting into a capital intense market that is rivaling and threatening to surpass the Western powers.

This is 100% pure capitalist behavior. There is nothing even remotely communist happening here.

Nations and political parties and politicians call themselves things all the time. The Nazis called themselves socialist, North Korea calls itself a democracy, and China calls itself communist. Those labels mean nothing, though. Politicians lie all the time. You have to look at their behavior instead.

China meets 0 out of 3 conditions to be a communist society. It also meets 0 out of 1 condition to be considered socialist. It is a capitalist nation, and currently, the fasted growing capitalist economy in human history.

You guys realize there are multiple sections to companies right? There is Tencent US and Tencent China. Just like there is Activision-Blizzard in China, just like the US. Along with thousands of other companies. Chances are high 99% of the items in your house came from China. Don't play moral superiority just because its a video game.

Your hypocrisy is outstanding. Go throw out everything in your house then...I'll be waiting for pictures. Don't go to Costco, Sam's club, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Target because they all have ties to China. Get rid of your PC, phone, tablet, etc. Go sell your car because all the electronics is from there too.
