So because it is possible to mess with the game's data and essentially have a different game people's suggestion to implenent potentiol improvement's are disregarded? What a pile of sht
He asked for the ability to adjust tile limit, said ability already exists. What are you getting upset about it? lol
Have you upgraded your Castle Heart? That increases the tile limit. You can make a huge castle. I don't know how you could possibly think it's not big enough.
He got irritated because the guy told him he's complaining about nothing because you can make the change he wants by altering the game files. I understand why he got upset. He disregarded his idea for a change to the game, in a condescending manner, just because you can make the change by altering game files. If you have to alter your game files to do something, then it is not an intended function of the game. The original poster was suggesting an official change to the game that would allow a player to make the adjustment legitimately. Without having to play around in the game's files. With that being said, I don't know how he could find the tile limit to be too small. Once you upgrade your Castle Heart, the tile limit can be huge.
250 is the max size defalut settings goes 30, 80, 150, 190, 250
Your anger is pointless. I don't understand why you are upset. It's literally a setting when you make a new game. I am not disregarding any idea; it simply already exists.
Play > Private Game > Advanced Game Settings > Territory Tile Limit
It's not fiddling with any files. If you host a server, then yes you need to fiddle with files, but you have to do that regardless.
If you have an existing save game and you want to edit the limits, you need to fiddle with files. Also unavoidable.
It's not altering the game files. It's literally an option. Also it's an intended function of the game if the game allows the settings in the files, no?
Your argument is also pretty nonsensical. If you want to host a server you will need to fiddle with files to make it working. Is that against intended function of a game too?
The tiles can be edited for EACH single core level into the server settings.
And even if you change them, the max tiles you can have are 250 at Core Lv4.
