Explosives- how to use?

I have minor box of explosives at alchemy table. I thought I could use these to blow up wooden walls without a siege golemn. Is that not that case? (Mode: Normal PvP mode, not hardcore)

Player construction needs a siege golem to weaken it before explosives help. NPC wooden walls do not need a golem.

But: you put down the box, and then you hit it and then it explodes. Once you have placed it, it's just like the exploding boxes you saw earlier in the sulfur mines boss fight.

I know a siege golemn is needed for Stone walls. But normally wooden walls can be blown up right??

You need to start a siege first, explosives are for back up if you golem explode.

You can blow up wooden walls no problem without golem. Pretty sure this is only possible in raid window. It takes 5 or 6 to blow up a wall. I have done it and had it done to me.

Edit. Now when I think about it, this was on private servers so I'm not 100% if this is default setting. But I would definitely try.

Only during raid window OP, also try the doors instead of the walls.

And by wall do you mean GATE? So if someone has like 4 gates, imma need like 24 minor explosives? thats a metric ♥♥♥♥ ton of sulfur. haha

Yes. Sadly by the time you can easily produce high volume of small explosive everybody has castle or left.
