Sorry they are using unity and why I am still just learning C# and unity myself? It does indeed have limitations on top of developers scope and priority list.
On another note i read a interview where i could have swore they were looking into second and third story floors?
crazy... theres a ton of Unity games that have multi level building. That sort of pushes it further away from using the engine as an excuse.
Just because one game uses it doesn't mean another can as easily. That really doesn't make any sense at all. The game does have limitation around resources for starters. Have you ever programmed in unity? I mean you keep making crazy claims that have not one ounce of reality to them. There are sharks in one game, so there is zero reason we can't have sharks in all games with that logic.
If the shark has lots of AI code and high res textures and other things? its eating resources that corn farming game doesn't need. I also listed other reasons which i guess are hard to understand. Like priority list??? You might want 2nd and 3rd floors but they have a plan on what is next for their vision. They also have a scope and most want to avoid scope creep.
No its an educated guess from someone who has played with unity and also knows there an absolute ton of games using the same engine doing things you are claiming are "limitations of the engine"
There are games using engine with infinitely more systems in play than what Vrising has. that not to say Vrising is bad in any way I love the game. But your excuses for "engine limitation" isnt it
its okay to say when the devs coded the game they didnt account for people wanting multiple stories so they didnt create assets to be used for that. Again if it was a system limitation they wouldnt be saying "we are working on basement floors and possible second/third story options"
stop being so butthurt. the devs didnt do the work for second stories. has nothing to do with engine limitations. Its the devs coding and how they made the game. not the engine they used for it.
Stop being so hard headed i also included other reasons and no you have no idea what a limitation is or how resources work so please stop?
