For missions: a variety of blood types. Their blood type matches certain conditions that make completing missions easier.
Right now im looking at the annoying ones with fire arrows, shield stuns and such but i cant actually make more till i kill tristan.
If youre struggling with Tristan, try using Chaos Dash, Chaos Volley and blood bolt - Get, Scholar blood from nuns in Dunley, stay max range, be patient, dodge his attacks by constantly moving in large circles and use chaos dash to avoid his fire - Then just chip his hp slowly away with your ranged spells.
Where they hail from usually just gives the 20% extra loot, which is nice but not essential, or as important as lowering the difficulty as you level up.
For defence, go with annoying NPC's. I pick mine from silverlight, just because they are horrific to fight against. Although anything that causes a stun is always a good call in my book as it adds to the chance of damage being dealt.
For PvE, I'm pretty sure the only ones that actually matter at this point are the ones related to fish, which are Dunley and Silverlight related.
Bomb throwers run away more than fight, also have the issue with friendly fire. The stunners are a good idea though. Maybe add a cleric or devote?
