For castle defense: whatever is the most annoying, toughest enemy you can find. Your servant keeps all the same attacks they had before converting them.

For missions: a variety of blood types. Their blood type matches certain conditions that make completing missions easier.

strong and annoying mobs are good servants, really i wouldn't bother that much with blood %, you need over 15% to see a big difference in terms of I-level and thats over 70%.

For missions, your servants will be useful till the end of the game. Farbane Woods rogues are good at getting gravedust. And gravedust is used in end tier crafting. So they can all be "best". It just depends on which types of areas would you rather not loot manually/have more of that loot.

if i had to pick one for PVE my opinion would be the villagers as they often reduce requirements for the missions, that's a pretty general statement tho as its much more nuanced per zone.

I dont know about the best, but the nuns from Dunley surely make the coolest.

So i know i can send them on missions and they patrol the castle grounds but can i say, get them to group up with me and kill this bastard tristan?

Right now im looking at the annoying ones with fire arrows, shield stuns and such but i cant actually make more till i kill tristan.

Unless you can catch Tristan roaming around your castle, you cant have your servants join the fight.

If youre struggling with Tristan, try using Chaos Dash, Chaos Volley and blood bolt - Get, Scholar blood from nuns in Dunley, stay max range, be patient, dodge his attacks by constantly moving in large circles and use chaos dash to avoid his fire - Then just chip his hp slowly away with your ranged spells.

For PvE I would go with a mix of types as they will all drop the difficulty in various missions depending on their type.

Where they hail from usually just gives the 20% extra loot, which is nice but not essential, or as important as lowering the difficulty as you level up.

For defence, go with annoying NPC's. I pick mine from silverlight, just because they are horrific to fight against. Although anything that causes a stun is always a good call in my book as it adds to the chance of damage being dealt.

For defense, I'd generally recommend a combination of stuns (bandit rogues, militia shield bois, etc) with the bomb throwers. The bomb throwers deal absolutely massive damage if the opponent can't avoid their damage/get to them. But no defense is going to be absolute, especially without more advanced ai tactics.

For PvE, I'm pretty sure the only ones that actually matter at this point are the ones related to fish, which are Dunley and Silverlight related.

Bomb throwers run away more than fight, also have the issue with friendly fire. The stunners are a good idea though. Maybe add a cleric or devote?

Like I said, they need paired with something that can keep the enemy from approaching. And I've not seen them actually do friendly fire. They, like the longbowman, function differently once they're servants.

Is there a page or something that shows what servant you get for each mission type for each zone?
even if is like
Rogue is for X/Icon
Warrior is for Y/Icon
Talamarie 20. maj 2024 kl. 5:30

Duneman 20. maj 2024 kl. 6:04
Rogue: Wildlife areas, though this is usually Cemeteries
Worker: Inconspicuous areas, like villages
Scholar: Religious areas
Warrior: Military areas
Brute: Harsh areas, like mines
