Endgame Bosses are way too hard to Solo
Ok, I know I'm not a very good player, but come on! Those big-bosses at lvl 70+ are not fun to encounter alone. I cannot even bring them down to half HP. I guess they are balanced around a party of multiple players.

Scholar blood 90%+, general's soul reaper, shard of the frozen crypt, and use spells. The game is easy with a spell build, but reliance on melee is basically garbage. Never melee. It is trash.

oh the end game bosses are still hard for 2 players too trust xD i mean not impossible but deff hard at times. I'd just change the world modifiers for HP if you are noticing that problem in your game. That will fix you right up.

the only other advice i can give is always be willing to change your build and mix and match trees to fit the fight. as well as learning all the weapons.

The bosses get harder the more people who engage the boss lol

On your first play through they might be a challenge but once you learn the game thoroughly they are a cakewalk.

level 87 behemoth was a challenge for me even with 100 scholar, level 81, and the other two shard buffs, with spell and phy +4 brews

I just want to talk about the game. I critizise it because I love it. I'm not "fishing" for any "points", I'm not "whining" and how dare you to call me a "clown".

You are a mean person.

This may just be a matter of git gud. I haven't had any such issues, but I may be a minority in that department. I know plenty of people that struggle with Dark Souls/Elden Ring fights without having a phantom backing them up, but I've never encountered a boss that I couldn't smash on my own.

I know a friend of mine struggles with this game at times, and I think the bulk of their issues is they lack good management skills. Your dash is incredibly powerful, but if you use it for literally anything that threatens you, you will frequently find it on cooldown when you legitimately need it. The Slashers have a dash attack that you can use as a micro-dodge. You can also make use of shields and the like. One of the biggest improvements you can have is just figuring out which attacks you can reliably defeat without relying on blowing cooldowns to do so.

The best defense is always just stepping out of the way of an attack. You should never use a dash unless you're completely certain you can't just walk out of danger.

The final bosses - you pretty much NEED spell vamp (lifesteal) - the Sanguine Coil is good for this
You pretty much need Chaos Volley - it does the most consistent dps

Ultimate, Heartstrike is meta

^ You need to regularly heal yourself , if you get hit twice in a row you'll lose more maximum HP and won't be able to heal up.

I was trying to kill the bosses with non meta setups and it was very difficult - swapped to the above build and it's 1 or 2 tries and done.

Kill Solarus last , the other 2 Boss Soul shards will make him easier.

Also , ye, high end Scholar Blood is the best, but failing that, Mid tier Creature Blood for the 20% damage reduction isn't bad.

If you use the Scythe / Reaper , then the E spinning ability will benefit from Soldier Blood.
Tier 3 Soldier blood is good - you don't NEED 90/100% Scholar

Solarus I beat with
xbow/reaper
Frailed blood
Ward of the damned/chaos barrier
Mirror Strike

Just end game gear no pots no special blood, no buffs, didn't grab the buffs from the other 2 soul shards.

Besides the holy pot you need to be in there of course.

I'm afraid that there is a certain point in my case where I can no longer "get gud". I have a hand injury that has done a number on my sinistra dexterity, and I also have timing issues as well as a result of that. I have found boss fights beyond the Dunley Farmlands to be too difficult for me to accomplish, even when I dramatically outgear the boss (thanks to friends on this server). Example: Wilfred is a L64 boss. I have L71 gear. All of my weapons are the highest quality. My armour is part of the way to maximum. I use a Rage Potion, a Witch Potion, and go at this guy when there's a Blood Moon out, and I cannot do this. No amount of telling me to get good will help when one has no ability to move finger joints and some minor nerve damage. The way many people here go on about how everybody should be able to because you can is just mind-blowingly conceited, and it really angers me seeing how this community dogpiles people who say they have problems.

I have never pulled this card before, but not everybody is as undamaged as you are.
The Pollie Jul 5, 2022 @ 9:49pm
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I have never in my life been accused of being undamaged.

Nah, the last two bosses can get ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I was breezing through the game, having fun, farming ♥♥♥♥, crafting ♥♥♥♥ and then these 2 major cockblockers arrive. ♥♥♥♥ that. Why such a sudden gigantic leap in difficulty? Even the first 2 soul shard holders were extremely doable, but last two are just a pure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's not even a matter of getting gud -- if I tried hard and long enough, I'd learn it eventually. It's just... It's just not fun. Used trainer to beat them, Darcula seemed like an absolute bs. Maybe if I ever play this again, I'll try a different build, but I just don't understand why, after so many average bosses last two had to be so mega buffed?

You don't even own the game, stop trying to farm Jester awards.
