Taking a break from V-Rising

Hey! I wanted to know if anyone knows how to manually back up the server files if you rented a server on G-Portal? I'm canceling my sub for a while because my group of friends has mostly moved on, but I want to save what we got built for when we swing back to it. I doubt that G-Portal will just keep our server save tucked away, given they only keep server backups for 28 days. How do I go about grabbing my server backup from them to store it manually until we're ready to put it back into use?

There should ftp thingy where u can get your saves and upload them back but I'm not sure how it works.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBymHLsYCOc&ab_channel=GPORTAL this video should give you the gist on how to download your save file. basically its showing you how to upload a save file to the server.. just do the opposite instead of uploading to the server just download from it. then just reference said video when its time to pay for a server again.
