Servants mission time is too long (Solo PvE)
23+ hours is too long if you play a solo game on your local computer.

I typically play +/- 3-4 hours a day and then exit the game. So it takes between 4-6 days until my servants return from a mission. The loot they bring I could farm myself within a few minutes.

Would make more sense if servant mission time advances, even when the game is not running.

Yeah I second this. There's no point at all using servant missions in solo mode. As OP says, 24 hours and I get what might have taken me 10 mins to farm. Therefore not much point in having servants in solo mode.

This needs way more thought on the issue. the balance for pvp vs offline is way off atm.
And this issue being a big one them.

Other issues related to time scaling...
Heart Blood drain ( I throw away more blood essence than i can keep track of )
Horse Canteens ( cant recall the last time i topped up my horse )

I agree, first time I used the servant I thought it was 24h game time and not real. I now just use 2h runs and accept the fact that they may get injured. Loot doesn´t even scale that longer runs would be more useful. I have currently over 50 hours played on solo only and that would mean that even if I had servants at the start of the game they would have done total of 2 missions. And for those 48 hours I would farm the materials in one (game) night easily...

And if you want to use servants in higher level missions you first need a lot of materials for their gear. Its like hiring a person in real life and then needing to buy equipment / work clothes for them and then they needed to work 10 years to break even for your investment.

And about horses, I don´t care about them anymore, slight variations in stats won´t make me care enough about them, I just let them die and pickup another one. :)

Boost output and do faster missions, 3x rewards winds up with the fastest being the same as a 24hour

This is a worrying trend these days with games. When solo is available it's like the redheaded stepchild that gets no love. Everything is geared toward online/multiplayer and little thought goes into how solo might have different needs.

This is a non-issue.

Its a mechanic thats meant for online play. You want to shorten the duration? Just up the rewards in server options and only do 2 hour missions.

Unless you want it even faster than that, in which case you should just spawn items at your feet. Its meant to take long as well with risk with how much you get as a reward. You are asking to just get loot with no risk or investment. Like why even bother with servants than, just up the gather rate on your server.

Why defend something that could have been made in a better way just because it's not an issue for you ?

It's a vampire lore mechanic. It's useless for all offline players, and thus an issue. All game features should be useful for all playstyles - this should be obvious to anyone who cares about more than just their own perspective.

No, just no. If youre offline you can edit the settings, no? Boost servant loot gains and use faster expeditions. Its not useless when YOU refuse to utilize it in a decent way.

offline was added as an optional mode so obviously nothing will be around it.

could tie it to the amount of players on a server, so If there is one the time is shorter but if the server is full then its a full 24hrs?

you mean you throw away blood essence rather than store it in a chest or put it in a blood press to convert to greater bloods which you then convert to primal bloods?

or did you mean you don't loot all the blood essence you can when farming?

If you're actively throwing out blood essence you might want to consider using the blood press instead.

The only resource I've ever just simply discarded was plant fibre and even that has multiple uses

I'm having this issue as well, it'd be cool if it used real time instead of play time. What's the setting in the config file to up the rewards? How much can you increase them?

i agree to this.
That would be less a problem if you could change the time settings for the servants mission but i didn´t saw any settings in the game settings ini. I really hope the devs will change that fast for single player. I´am not interested in pvp but i really like the pve aspect and to play with friends together. But as long as this servant missions are stay like it is, there is a big part of the game that i like in general but have to ignore because it take laughable long.
