Controls Not Feeling Intuitive
The controls really bothered me when I tried to play it. I'd like to be able to press and hold a key (preferably my right mouse button) to move forward, then turn in whichever direction using my mouse. I then like to use keys S and F to strafe left and right. I'm finding that I can't configure this. Will controls be further developed? Will the gamepad be supported?

Personally, I think that the big problem with the controls is that the character's direction is not locked to the camera's direction, so you have to control them separately. It's really bizarre and makes hitting anything accurately way harder. It would be far, far better IMHO if you could lock the character's direction to the camera's direction and then just control them both by moving the mouse rather than needing to hold the right mouse button to change the camera. I'm basically forced to carefully line up my character so that they face forward and then hold the right mouse button all the time just so that I can ensure that my character doesn't keep changing where they're facing and causing me to miss when attacking. I don't recall ever seeing a game with controls like this before, and I really hope that they fix them.

Agreed controls are a bit of mess and will take time to adjust to. I am pretty sure controller support will be added soon enough in next subsequent patch tho :r6atk:

This game has the best controls.

I am going to agree with Erynar and astator on this one. Controls are awesome, WASD movement is the best kind of control for your character, but more freedom wouldn't be bad, some games allow you to switch to mouse movement like League of Legends or diablo. I am not saying it's bad, but i prefer WASD any day, all day. Just my opinion.

The camera control is horrible, I don't mind rotating the camera and everything but right now trying to keep my character aimed at the enemies while I'm rotating the camera is impossible for me. I love this games concept but the camera control in relation to the character control is sub-par and that is being generous in my critique.

Controls are tight and snappy. Camera control is very intuitive and fitting.

I think some people just want this game to be sth different than what it is....

Yes. Some people want to have some control options from this century.

I think once the game is in a further stages they will look into making it accessible for disabled gamers, too.

I guess if you've never played battleite ( their dead arena brawler of the same engine) then you might find the controls wonky. Honestly i just rebind the keys that feel off (like the abilities and weapon abilities) to my razer naga mouse and everything feels better now. I would just try rebinding stuff to see what best fits you

Yeah, did the same. Game is reactive, and once you understand the camera (like in every game) you will see that the camera is quite excellent for the gaming format they went for.

I can rotate camera while landing skillshots without any issue. Just play the game longer than 20 minutes and everybody can do, too.

WASD controls are fine, but I feel that in combat, it's difficult to use any extra abilities with the keyboard. Like, Shift and Space aren't much of a stretch, but R T and C? I feel like I need more fingers.

Lol... you shouldn't need more fingers (R+T use your index finger just as when you type using a keyboard, and C is activated typically with the thumb (or also your index) so as to avoid uncomfortable moments)
