Dedicated Server update question.
So, I'm a newb when it comes to private dedicated servers... I read that there is an "auto-update" option for dedicated servers but I can't figure out how to do this and there's no real info on it that I've seen. Does anyone know how to enable this?

Also... I don't even know what version my server is as I only see client side when getting into the server. You'd think it wouldn't let you in the server if the versions weren't the same (but I haven't updated it and I can get into the server and it shows the latest version down on the bottom right, but is this client side only? lol)

If you're renting the server from g portal, the auto update is turned on by default. When the devs push an update to live, your server will auto restart and update on it's own.

I was doing a dedicated server from home. It went pretty well with 4 people playing pretty consistently. Very few hick ups, and only rubber banded for 1 person a couple times out of the 50-90hours (depending on the person) put in.

As far as updating the server... I never once updated the server and we never had any problem and we could log in still which I found strange. The version number always would say the same version number on the bottom right as the game which was updated by steam. So, I don't know if they have an auto update feature enabled on the server itself or what. One of the strangest home server experiences I've ever had... lol We got to and beat Solarus though so I have no clue...
