Clock and Menus during Sleep?

So I can read up on lore and see how close it is to the moon rising while sleeping, is it possible to have interactive menu and clock options as you sleep?

Considering sleeping doesn't put any more of a pause on halting your blood drain (meaning coffins are glorified manual savepoints), you're better off just sitting in one place to read.

An in-coffin UI would be nice though.

You don't have to sleep if you use a Mist Brazier in your Castle during daylight hours. As Shazzamon says, it doesn't pause anything when you sleep so you may as well just stay as active as you can.

Thanks for the help...I didn't have a roof which has helped lots...although I didn't realise I could do a wooden floor and went all the way to stone...

Just started playing for the last hour or so. Thought I could avoid the sun by sleeping but there's no indication what the time is when you';re in your coffin. I read it's about 15 minutes in real-time. Since you can't do anything and time doesn't go faster then it seems a coffin is pretty useless for yourself (unless I guess you just want a 15 minute break). Might as well just plop down a Mist Brazier and feed it bones to keep the sun at bay. I'm guessing if you have minions (not sure if this is a thing) you could use the coffin during the day to keep them alive? Otherwise I'm not sure the purpose of a coffin? What am I missing here?
