Can you repair a broken item?
If a piece of gear completely breaks and gets to zero durability are you still able to repair it or is that item lost?

My necklace is at very low durability, but I will be able to craft it into a new one as soon as I farm a few more gold jewelry. I am concerned that it will break before I get the last of the mats I need. It would cost me gold jewelry to repair the old necklace which is also what I need to make the upgraded version. I'd rather not have to spend the gold jewelry on repairs if I can help it.

Thank you for any help with this question.

So it doesn't really matter when you repair it.

I know you can repair with middle mouse button, but can you still do it if the item is at zero durability?

Thank you. Do you happen to know if the repairs get more expensive as durability goes down? Otherwise it sounds like it is better to wait to repair until it actually breaks.

I haven't a noticed a difference in cost.

yes hover over the broken item and it will show the resources you need. Once you have them go to your workbench, move the item into the item slots under the workbench, and click middle mouse. It will repair it automatically.

You don't need the workbench. As long as you have the material in your inventory, you can repair it, even in the middle of the ennemy city.
