adminauth not working on dedicated server?
I've used Survival Server as my main portal for dedicated server, but for some reason I couldn't use adminauth command and I have already declared my steam64ID as admin and set that password. But it only shows I have received -5DKP. What is that?

Something is wrong with the steamID you added then. It's not recognizing your account as the admin account.

Are you the only admin and you put 1 ID per line? The 17 digit one? At least that's the one I used.

check that your ServerHostSettings.json has "AdminOnlyDebugEvents": true and "DisableDebugEvents": false.

Locate the adminlist.txt

The main file where all admins will need to be placed is the adminlist.txt . This can be located in your File Manager in the /VRisingServer_Data/StreamingAssets/Settings directory or folder.

Add Your SteamID64

Once you’ve found your admin configuration file click to Edit the file. This file by default will be empty. To add your Steam account as an admin for the server you’ll need to enter your SteamID64 on an empty line. If you are unfamiliar with what your SteamID64 is we recommend checking out our article on How to quickly find Steam ID numbers. For multiple accounts each SteamID64 will need to be on its own line.

Using Admin Commands

To enter commands for your server your game console will need to be enabled and you will need to be connected to the server. Once you have joined your server open your Options. Under General make sure Console has been Enabled.

Once that is done go back to the game and press ~ to open your game console. Enter adminauth to get access to all Admin commands. You should see the You now have Administrator priveleges (SuperAdmin)! in your chat to confirm the commands success.

Yes there is 17 digits and I've copy/pasted already at the server console, and yes I'm the only admin there.

After I went to the location folder, I don't have adminlist.txt file. I got only like ServerGameSettings.json | ServerHostSettings.json | ServerListPrioritySettings.json etc.

Should I create an adminlist.txt file and insert may SteamID value there with only one line?

I have tried adding an adminlist.txt file inside /VRisingServer_Data/StreamingAssets/Settings directory or folder. But it still won't work, I still received this message "Authentication failed! You are awarded -5DKP!"

I have tried adding an adminlist.txt file inside /VRisingServer_Data/StreamingAssets/Settings directory or folder. But it still won't work, I still received this message "Authentication failed! You are awarded -5DKP!"

Same Problem here. My ID is in the adminlist.txt on the dedicated server :(

I've figured it out. If ure using a free dedicated server you'll find your adminlist.txt in \VRisingDedicatedServer\save-data\Settings

After opening the file you'll find your 9-digit friend code but that's not what you need. You'll need to paste your SteamID64 (you can replace the existing code or just place the Id64 on a new line, either works) which you can find on the link bar when u click on your steam profile.

It should look kind of like this "https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198833681844/" the numbers you see on the right is ur SteamID64

If ever you're having trouble finding ur ID: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/2816-BE67-5B69-0FEC
