Fish oil

What are peoples best methods of getting a lot of fish oil? I know docks is great but it’s high risk on PvP servers so just wondering is fishing worth it or are there other avenues to get it easily?

Fishing is probably the quickest way to get it, it's just boring AF and feelsbadman when you catch garbage loot instead of a fish.

I just have two servants farming fish oil when I need it.

Farming Mosswick Village (both yourself and Servant Hunting) is the absolute fastest way to get it, and without having to waste good fish to the Devourer.

Nah. I've done this enough times to know that's wrong.

You can clear Mosswick, kill everything and break every object, wait for respawn, clear the entire thing a second time, and still have less Fish Oil than if you had just caught and devoured 3 fish.

Brighthaven Docks only works because it has very high mob density and respawn.

Then you've had bad luck fam, or you've been outright ignoring the fishing pot objects in particular. Both docks are where your focus needs to be.

I haven't been ignoring fish pots. Every single breakable object in and around the village destroyed. It's just a bad place to farm for Fish Oil. Great place to send your servants on missions though.

Maybe you're on a server with custom drop rates?
