Using Throne in Single player?
i am playing on Singleplayer and i send my servants off on a 24hr mission and then i went to bed, Came back on the next day and its still on 23hrs 50mins, so i have to be in game for a full 24hrs to do one mission any way around this?

yes, i'm hoping the dev(s) will change this. leaving the game running at 100% gpu usage isn't an option either for me

Private servers only advance when you play.
Since you basically stop everything from advancing when you take the server offline.
If you were toy play on an official server which stays always online, everything including your crafting queue proceeds normally.

Some friends and I put up a server with just us on it. We made a clan and have been advancing through it together. if you want to play on the server and be left alone, and not have your duders actually loot stuff, add me as friend and I'll give you the server details and PW. It's currently set to PVP but we don't really plan on doing any pvp. Sever is empty except for us.

Hopefully they fix this for solo players. Only other thing that I could think to do would be to buy another copy on the wifes steam account and leave her computer running a V Rising server 24/7, but that would end up with a loud 'conversation' where I'm not allowed to speak and me sleeping in the other room as long as the server's running. But I do have a noise canceling headset and the other bed is pretty comfortable....

For now the only way around this is to run a dedicated server on the side and connecting to that locally. The game just doesn't have any way to handle simulation of time passing - which absolutely should be a feature longterm for singleplayer servers (and indeed friends only style servers, where people can only play on weekends and such)

Edit: Unholy to the rescue with admin commands.

There is a work around. Basically you have to enable admin mode by doing the following.

Go into options
Under General
enable console commands

Then once in game hit the ` key (the key under your ESC key) and type in: adminauth
Press enter
Then type in: addtime 12
press enter

This will take 9 minutes off the current timer on the hunt. You can quickly repply this command by pressing down on the keyboard while the console window is open (it puts the last used code in the console window)

I usually bring my 24 hour hunts down to about 4 hours, as I don't want to just be handed all my goodies. I do hope they give us a way to edit the timer on it though, I really don't like time traveling in my save.

One a side note if you gear out your servants and put them in the right missions you can easily 100% the reckless/rush hunts, you will get less but its 2 hours instead of 24 if you dont want to use the addtime command. That said you can also edit the amount of reward you get from the hunts so if you crank that up you can get it that reckless/rushed hunts give the same as the 24 hour hunts.

I hope this was helpful.

You can tweak the settings to make it 15 mins ingame:
AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Saves
open ServerGameSettings.json
look for "ServantConvertRateModifier": X,
replace X with anything from 0.1 to 5, 5 being the absolute shortest time possible.

thats why i downloaded the steam dedicated server tool and moved my save game over so i just can have the server running when i want to and time will advance.

and btw sending them on a 24 hour mission is not worth it send them on 2 hour missions is the best option for now and yield the most ressources at least not when youre playing

if you go to bed and have them run over night thats a different story tho.
