You can teleport near your base usually or if all else fails just respawn at your base.
Even if the golem does get up it takes over a minute to break the first wall and the golem is very easy to destroy and should be your target.
If the enemies have an alliance you need to get your own as these are a big part of these games.
Also remember to have strong servants that can help defend your base in good gear.

Also, the server you are on, my be ran by some admins who like to raid, and have adjusted times. Normally it's a timed raid, and from what I heard if you honeycomb right, they shouldn't be able to get that far, having a base before your base is the way to go.
