Scroll farm?

I'm hitting all those encampments that say they drop scrolls but gains are becoming incredibly slow. I've hit a bit of a roadblock.

Can't really progress without getting past my level 50 gear but I can't really figure out what to do in order to do so except getting the merciless stuff... Which in order to do I need to research.

Don't focus too much on the places that have scrolls, all the mobs have a chance of dropping scrolls in the farmland section of the map, just gotta go on a killing spree.

I can usually get enough for one research each run. The plateaus you reach trying to get recipes for new equipment can be annoyingly grindy at times.

Yeah it's really holding me back. Still trying to get through tier 2 for the gear but the scrolls keep giving me decor >_>

Yeah I'm at about 60 and grinding for scrolls to try and unlock the Paper Press so that I can craft paper and scrolls. Getting the Paper Press tech is rng though. I'd finally have a use for all that sawdust and plant fiber.
