LAN won't connect
We've tried everything from firwall configuration to port forwarding. When trying to connect to the LAN in either online or offline mode we just get the error "Error: No Response from Remote Host". What does this mean??

i have the same problem too.
Had the same while trying to connect back to private game my friend hosted on their computer so we had him send an invite via steam and that worked.

LAN didnt work for me aswell. But whats even worse - opening a LAN server seems to disable DLC?

My wife and I have played V Rising for about 8 hours total. We have ran our own local server on lan. Her game crashed and when she when to log back on she has a error message "Connection Timed Out". It shows her in our castle and in my Clan like she is still on the server. I have tried to kick her from the server with console and Admin controls. I have restarted the game and computer. Still same error. This Sucks!

Getting "Connection Timed Out" on my lan server today. It was fine before today.

What worked for me was port forwarding for the computer hosting the game, and connecting directly with the local IP address.

Inviting via steam worked once, but connecting via IP address seems more reliable.

did you try to tyoe in the Host IP Adress directly ingame
(not the online IP Adress, the LAN Adress (192.168.. ...))
this works for us
They did some network tweaks following the Gloomrot update that ruined something. Every time you open the server browser, a steam component crashes and tries to send a bug report.
