Stack Splitting
Is there a way to nab 1/3rd of a stack so say if you have three or six grinders you can easily split a single stack to fit equally into those three or six grinders? If not just as a small QoL tweak I would love the ability to be able to do this. Like holding ctrl + M3 to be able to split into 3rds would be great and make resource management better.

no not really it just makes it time consuming if you want exactly thirds

If you have say an even amount of say grinders sure, but if you have 3 or 6 grinders it becomes a drag to make even stacks because they are not a multiple of 2. Being able to split stacks into halves and thirds solves this issue. Other games like Rust do this.

what's the fastest way to take 8 from a 100 stack? hope it's in an empty storage and spam middle mouse.

I don't understand why there isn't a keystroke like control+Middle mouse for 1, shift+middle mouse for a box to type how many i want out at least.

Not to compare apples to oranges, but quite literally any "survival game" with mats and resources have multiple ways of splitting stacks. It's a nit pick, but a very strong one for me, nearly everything else is perfect in this game.

I can agree with this as well when you just want one or a couple of something. It was just not a problem that I faced most often. When dealing with a game with crafting times I try to mitigate it with more machines. I usually end up with 3-6 and I am used to a game like Rust.

Most of the time I just take the whole stack to craft something now a days and just shove it all back into the bookshelf next to the crafting station, but yeah if they were to add more splitting options I wouldn't mind I was just most worried about a 1/3rd split.
