How are you guys managing your prisoners Misery? i went fishing for 2 hours and brought back one fish that lowered it slightly, is there a better way? I heard tell of a fishing village to send minions too but no idea where that is.

I just ignore it an mass feed the blood banks rats. As getting fish in this game is teeth pulling an not worth the hassle. But I can mass spawn rats in my base fine.

wont the misery damage buff eventually just kill the prisoners if left unchecked?

No, the damage from draining blood caps out 60% HP.

Idk haven't hit 100% misery, but if it does well tbh it easier to find a new 100% blood quality NPC to capture than it is to find the stacks of fish needed to keep your current captive happy.

totally agree - honestly I have yet to see a 100% and dont know methods for efficiently searching for one, but I am happy with my 94 warrior for the time being lol :)

Not sure where you got this info, considering I tested this a couple of days ago and my prisoner died from 100% at about 120% misery or so.

are there any server settings that can increase fishing spot spawns, or reduce misery buildup?

It random when the NPC respawns, but higher level enemies due tend to average higher numbers. If you pay attention you'll notice that villagers an militia NPC never have blood quality below 10% unlike the bandits. Also another note NPC with high blood quality never despawn on their own, so if you run across a NPC with high blood quality you can mark the location he at on your map an come back to collect an capture later.

The fishing village is Mosswick Village in the Dunley Farmlands. It's on the southwest side of the zone. Servant missions there bring back primarily fish oil and fish.

Good to know! are those fish, or at least some of them, usable for managing misery or is it only the healing fish?

I am nowhere near the point where I can charm and capture good blood types...

But how does misery and feeding on prisoners work?
What do you need to do to make sure you 100% blood type X prisoner never dies and always can be fed on?

Feeding on prisoners increases misery and lowers HP. the more misery they have the more hp they lose until its just an insta kill. to manage misery you eed some certain fish which are fankly just awful to farm atm.

Yes, it caps at 60%, but misery adds to that percentage, so high misery will eventually just kill a prisoner if left unchecked

Honestly I've had better luck finding sage and rainbow fish from containers inside npc homes than I have from fishing. When looting homes is a better fish source than actual fishing is, I'd say fishing needs an overhaul
