So, I tried this game for free, and; boy I am glad I did, because I really don't care for it.

It feels like a mashup of crafting survival, such as Valheim, and isometric action, such as Diablo - while delivering quality and depth of neither.

Honestly feels like this game is only as popular as it is because of a tryhard pvp community, who have to have their enjoyment come at the cost of someone else's.

Don't know why people are afraid to voice their opinions on their main accounts. Steam level 0 is totally sus...

Game could be fun if played with others, PVE is terrible. PVP/full-loot where the game is going to shine. The only way to find a group is the official discord and it's a sh*tshow. Tried for hours today and got an invite, but quickly realized it was not an invite to a 4man group as advertised, rather they just wanted more fodder for their pvp server...

The moment someone says something unfavorable about someone's currently favorite game, what's the first thing they do? Hit that profile looking for ammunition to discredit, be that via hours played, or other games played, to any other number of things.

If someone is going to try to discredit what I say, then I want that to come from the discussion being had and opinions put forth - not from someone peeping over my should to see what is going on in my gaming profile.

Game is in EA, there is a lot of room for improvement, but for what it can do, I find it a fun little game, i.e. building castle is fun, it looks good, and you actually feel like the king of your domain, this can be further improved upon, like having npc's actually raid your domain.

I've seen tryhards like darkshape up there attempt to discredit folks for reasons ranging from hours played (which usually gets the ol "YoU jUSt NeeD 2 plAY mOAr") to "lol you play <insert x game here> as well? opinion invalid omegalul" and I simply don't want to deal with it. The discussion needs to stay on the discussion, nothing more or less.

My profile is public and will always be public, I have nothing to hide. My opinions are my opinions, if someone doesn't like them, tough.

That said, PVE is garbage in this game, if a person is looking to buy it for that reason, DON'T.

I know this is weak bait, but the entire idea that "I don't enjoy this thing, therefore it must not be good" is so smoothbrain it's amazing.

Assuming that because I said I didn't like it and giving my completely subjective opinions as to why, that equates to me saying the game is bad? (not the case. I never said it was bad - I said I didn't care for how the elements meshed, and hence, that I personally did not like it)

Not realizing the terms "good" and "bad" are completely subjective, and differ from person to person.

Sorry my opinion doesn't mesh with yours, but I rather prefer living in a world where I get to have an opinion, instead of living in an echo chamber.
