Horses Vs Vampire Wolf Form

I kinda feel like horses make our wolf form pretty pointless. The horse is faster and not just by a little bit either.

I loved the idea of changing into a wolf to go faster but I'm struggling to find a reason to use wolf when I can just get on a horse and go twice as fast (if not faster I don't know the exact speeds)

Maybe have horses only usable during the day or night? Or have them as a "one and done" where if you get off the horse it runs off and despawns? Maybe I'm the only one who finds horses just a little too good (especially on pvp if you're chasing or being chased on a horse either your target or whoever is hunting you is gonna catch up no problem)

Wait til you have to traverse zones with gunners, you won't bring a horse there since you literally cannot stay mounted in the areas. Horse is amazing for traversing the rest of the zones though.

Horses are kinda grand theft auto style now. We use them to bring new thralls back to base but otherwise ditch em. Nobody even bothers feeding them now.

I pretty much don't use horses, they are faster but harder to use than just afking and walking, and generally you're going to be in an area where you want to attack and farm the enemies unless going a long distance for a farming run which is what portals are for. You especially won't use it once you have the bat.

Wolf becomes something you do when running back to your horse. Its useful in that regard.

Also to the guy who can't juke gunners. Git gud kiddo.

0.o I use horses all the time in Silverlight,while being shot at and not being dismounted, it is not difficult
Move at an angle if you pass rifleman,theyll miss
You can do this while staying at the roads

Now have option of dominating mount in new update to have vampire horse tho as Ive already completed the Journal Quest: “A Castle Reaching the Sky" to upgrade your Castle Heart to Level 4, I now dont have that vampire power so do I have to now start over from beginning?
