This is IP address always your localhost loopback IP address for your system.
If you left the port the default port, then there is no need to supply a port number. Default ports are 9876 and 9877. If you want to try direct connect with port to your own system, it’s: 127.0.0.1:9876
I have the same problem as OP. I installed the V Rising server as instructed but I cant log in with my internet ip address and the server does not show up on the master server list.
But I could connect to 127.0.0.1 so the server is obviously up. I did disable my firewall and I opened all the correct port on my Linksys smart wifi, the ports 9876,9877,27015,27016.
Could it be the cisco modem that is blocking and not the linksys router or any firewalls on the computer?
Yes, the server is being created and I can access it. But I can't find the server in the search. Opened all ports in the firewall and in the TP link router, but so far there is no result.
For anyone having similar issues but are running a server on a 2nd computer that's on their network, you'll need to use direct connect using the local IP of the computer that is hosting the game.
