purpose of sleeping?

does anyone know the purpose if any of sleeping, i haven't noticed anything significant while doing so.
so far i think it "might" make you lose blood at a slower rate but i don't know for certain.

It's basically to keep your body safe while you log off or AFK. If you log off w/o entering a coffin you'll float in mid-air in the sleeping position and players can drag your body around or you'll die in sunlight if out in the open during the day logging back in.

I don't remember if they can just loot you/kill you, I don't play on a PvP server atm.

Yeah not only that, but when ever its day time and you just wanna take a break and go afk, you can just hop in the coffin. It feels good to do that.

It's for logging off. You stay where you log off so people will find you sleeping and can kill you/drag your body someplace to have npcs kill you

Also i think you won`t loose any blood overtime while sleeping in the coffin.

No you wont loose any blood. Confirmed that last night.

I have experienced several times on a private server my wife and I play on that I will awaken from a coffin after an evening or the next day to find 100% quality blood and be 10/10L full.

I've know I went in with like some 3% wolf blood or something. IDK if that's a bug or blood quality upgrades after some time?
