New Character

Is there an option you can make a new character / reset? I like to re-play characters from scratch and I was wondering whether that was possible on the same server

There is no such thing as new character on the same server.

Progression is tied to gearscore, so basically, if you feel like starting from scratch for whatever reason, all you need to do is scrap your gear, delete castle, and you're pretty much to square one.

Except for whatever spells and abilities you've obtained, those cannot be reset.

Just use the basic spells in the beginning and start to use the others the moment you beat the bosses which unlocks them for you. There, I found you a solution.

Well after playing this game for a while, I have discovered there are servers that periodically wipe the progress, so you can start anew after a week or more, idk the timeline, but you can search

this doesnt work as it takes away much of the satisfaction of progression

plus the passives do not reset.
