I7 32 gb ram 2070 super. I get 60 w occasional dips below (50-60). I think with time, optimizations will come but I do believe I should be getting more FPS as well

With that you should be seeing a lot more frames. That's the issue. There are a lot of dips. If you go with 50 FPS locked over 60 FPS locked that means that CPU/GPU/RAM have about 20% more time to process data - therefore no stutters.

get between 60 an 80, but i play on linux so i expect a 5-10% performance loss, i get dips or freezes when compiling shaders

I9-9900K (Oc at 3.8) + RX580 (OC Core at 1501) + 32GB Ram and i had to FPS lock the game (on HIGH settings) because i was getting 826 FPS.

Check your settings, because there is something wrong with them on your PC (not only the game settings, but also how the whole PC has been configured).

Tested both.. no difference beside the ping issues that comes based on how far is the server...

this cant be completely true. I get 400 fps on valorant, 300+ on league of legends, 200+ on so many other games but you are telling me i get 40-60 with stutters and drops on this game which is isometric view like league and the graphics are really not all that impressive?

How can i know HOW you configured your whole PC? Having a powerfull CPU and GPU isn't all if your windows is full of "trash" operations going on. Those does lower the overall performance.

Try to clean up all the unnecessary processes, services, ecc..
Disable HARDWARE support on Browser/Discord/Steam, and other services that does uses it (having it on decrease the GPU performance too), and so on.

The less stuff is running the more performances you get.

I get it, you want to defend the games performance.. but when every other game performs well and this one does not pull near the frames other games i get.. I get over a 100 on cyberpunk even.. you have to begin to question the game itself as well. Sure, there are things i could do to increase my pcs performance, but ultimately that all should not matter, I should pull 100 fps regardless on this game.

I am defending nothing, in fact, i am the first one to say that the optimization can be done better, especially in terms of heating... but still, i have not much of an issue to play beside the heat that is extremely up... before locking up the FPS i had the GPU going up to 90° and after locking it to 63 FPS i am now down at 41-48 max

And no, you don't have to have many FPS "just because". If your PC is full of trash unnecessary features (services, programs, not fully optimized hardware settings, ecc..) you can't "pretend" to have high performances.

Customizing the settings on a PC is the best feature we PC users can have. Use it and clean up your PC. I am sure that you'll get way bigger FPS with the hardware you have.

Fresh windows install, 2070 super. Can't maintain 60 fps and changing settings doesn't do much. G-sync on my monitor is only activate between 60-144 fps so it's really annoying.

same,rtx 3060 50-70 fps and a lot of stutters,changing graphic doesn't do much either
