Where to find acorn seed?

Cut down trees. I found mine when I harvested trees in the farmlands, though you might be able to find more of them in the forest. I'm not sure though since I barely spent any time there.

the drop rate is horrible.. hell in 65 hours I've cut down hundreds of trees.. I have 5 pine and 1 acorn. thats it..

In the 50, almost 60 hours I've played I think I only have like 10 acorns lol. They seem to be a pretty rare drop unless you dedicate yourself solely to cutting tress nonstop the entire time. But in all honesty, I think once you plant them then they are a permanent spawn point for the tree. Not really sure how it works since I never actually set up a farm in my castle, really didn't see a point when I could farm more mats on my loot runs in less time then the farms would ever produce.

I dont know of anyone who plants trees to farm them for wood, especially not oak trees. you should be planting them for shade or decoration. i planted 4 of them around my fountain and created a massive patch of shade in the center of my garden

You have to cut down the biggest trees to get acorn. When I noticed (based on experience) that acorn seeds are only dropped from really big trees, whenever I go farming them, I only cut down the biggest trees. And my drop rate is pretty good. 1 out of every 10 trees. One time I collected 6 of them.

Dev just fixed drop rate for seeds in latest patch, before this its really hard to find the seeds.
