What is the best way to play solo? Online or offline?
SO i got this game and played for 2 hours and I'm pretty impressed. I played on an official PvE server. Is this a good way to play the game? Or is it better to play offline.
I want to get into PvP later, but for now I just wanna learn the basics.

Its not Playable solo unless you just want to gather bones, blood, and stone at a low level
, you get to a point that you need to Lvl , and you cant beat the NPCs

Online, you can get help or tips from other players while you play.

I've played solo offline on my own hosted world. So far so good, item level 40, with 2 castles. I like not having to worry about the pvp aspects.

If you just want to learn the basics and reroll on a new server, it doesn't really matter. With online official servers, you get the benefit of talking in a Global chat, and getting help from randoms that happen to be passing by. I've had 2-3 really difficult bosses I was having trouble with taken care of when another play came up to do the same one.

Plus on an official server, time passes when you sign off. So you can queue up a lot of stuff in your crafting tables, and have it complete when you sign back on. If you made an offline private server, the world stops when you quit, so it could slow things down a tad for you.
