Servant missions too long
If servant missions take 24+ hours of real world time, then on private servers they almost will never finish.

If this is true there really is no point in anyone playing on private servers from proceeding with the game. Too bad.

Time keeps on ticking on dedicated private servers. I assume you meant servers that you run on your machine or something?

Anyway, hopefully they add a expedition duration ratio configuration setting.
Yes, they are called "private servers" by the game. This mechanic is kinda broken.
Meh, I'm gonna play a different game until this is fixed. I was super into this game and I'm sad this mechanic is completely broken.
servants are best sent on 2hr runs anyway, more materials overall.
Gotta agree here, the missions are way to long for private servers, should be an option to either reduce their time, or a way to make the servant mission timer keep ticking even if the private server is closed.

you can literally adjust the bar that makes their mission time shorter. You won't get as many resources, but it doesn't have to be for 24 hours. How did you guys miss that?

you can literally adjust the bar that makes their mission time shorter. You won't get as many resources, but it doesn't have to be for 24 hours. How did you guys miss that?

No, there's a bar with red, yellow, and green on it. You can slide it to only take like 2 hours. If you happen to go offline then it won't count down, but if you play for a few hours at a time then you should see the beginning and end of a run. Resources aren't as plentiful but should still be a nice bonus
at same time, in private servers your alone so you have all the resources just for you. In multiplayers it's a must have ! But why not add an option that switch the clock to the computer internal clock so the mission progress when you relaunch the game/private server ?

A fair point but it adds weight to my point. If private servers aren’t designed well then devs are being at best misleading in their advertising.

Which is a quick revive costing you only 100 blood essence, not that big of a deal. 2hr trips or nothing, no reason to do otherwise unless you're busy all day. If its really that much of a problem just adjust the server settings, they have a lot of features and some concern servants which would address your complaint.

true, I think the timer should be offline for private as well
Just came to ask if servant mission timers are attached to the server or irl time and kinda disappointed

Because gonna be real 2 hours in server is a silly slog nevermind 24 hours because at my current progress I'm gonna be done in 24 hours in game the mats I've got the sevents after right are barely going to matter at that point.

Just a clarification. Im looking at the server settings in game right now.

You CAN adjust the "server time zone" to: Local System Time (your pc time) or one of 5 different world time zones (UTC, PST, EST, CET, and CST)

Time also still goes even when the server or your game is not on. I had sent my 2 servants on the 23 hour thing yesterday morning, and I started my game just now to see them back in the base from the mission
