Pvp Protection

I notice some players being protected from PvP. As in you cannot attack them indicated by a shield icon next to their name.

I can't find any information related to this. When are players protected? How are players protected? Where can I find this information in game?

Internet searches tell me nothing and the game doesn't provide this information so anyone here know how, why and when this happens?

Standard is 30 min protection once you made a new character, some servers have 60+

It tells you in the tab before you join a server. Their PvP protection starts for X amount of minutes when they make their character. It cannot be regained in any way shape or form. Standard rules set it at 30 minutes, but most private servers are at 1 hour iirc.

Depending on server settings, you can have an pvpve server with time shedule for pvp.

If you own the game, open the json file on your hdd.

Default settings:
Steam\steamapps\common\VRising\VRising_Server\VRisingServer_Data\StreamingAssets\Settings\ServerGameSettings.json

For more details, ask your server admin on the sever you are playing.
