Okay this sounds reasonable but how do I change it? I've gone through the settings and I haven't found it.
Here is what I want to do - I want my friend to be able to access my town stuff/chests/etc.
Second you need to create a clan in the server and invite your friend(s) by CHARACTER name not steam name
Yeah tried this. Clan was full (1/1).
Is this gonna fix chest and town sharing?
Edit:
Did you by chance check the "only solo play" box by accident when creating game?
And yess the only way for friends to have access to base etc without destroying and looting it is to be in the same clan. If they want to do progression missions that require building they either need to be promoted to officer or build thier own base elsewhere
On a side note they can complete most bulsing missions simply by interacting with buildings you place . Sadly this only works for structures that have interaction :)
