Soul Shards not working/resetting

I haven't been able to find much information on the soul shards, as I don't think many people are there yet. But I've killed the 2 first soul shard bosses and walked to shards back to my base. I accessed my eye of twilight thinking there would be slots to put them there, but nope. It does say on the tooltip the shard needs to be in your base, so I assume just having it in any lockbox/vampbox in your base is supposed to give you the buff?

After storing it in my base I checked my stats and there were no changes to my resistances, so I do not believe the soul shards are working correctly.

Also, at 5pm, start of PvP, the soul shard disappeared and reset. Is that supposed to happen? Seems kind of silly to only have it for a few hours of PvP then poof.

So,
1. Soul Shard buff isn't activating
2. Why doesn't the eye of twilight have slots for the shards? Seems like an obvious place for them to live.
3. Soul Shard disappeared at 5pm, start of PvP back to the boss location.

Any comment would help.

You need to use them in a quick slot and place them like a pillar. it should look like this.

This Side is Not Working.
I have Same Problem, i can not Activate this Soul Shard.
