Blood Quality and Servants
So i have been playing for a rather long time by now. One thing that frustrates me, is that the Blood Quality is entirely random, and rolls hard towards 30%-40% at the Silverlight Hills, and other standard rates the other Zones. This gets very frustrating if you're an absolute perfectionist trying to get a Servant of 100% Blood Quality of one type of Blood Type.

My argument then gets to: Why not give us a World Setting allowing me to modify the different ranges of Blood Qualities, so i don't have to play for half a day each every waking day, just to hunt down one Human for 100% Blood Quality, of like, Mage Type and vice versa. Been stuck for two days on the Journal to obtain one stupid Servant.

My one and only major complaint so far. Otherwise, i'm in love with this game.

I don't think blood quality depends on the area. I've seen level 100 blood quality in all of the zones i've visited, but as with any other 1-100 roll, obviously getting the perfect one is rarer. Now i DO think that the fact that you lose your current buff whenever you feed on any new blood source is a bit of a nuisance. While you can of course tap blood from prisoners to get yourself back up to a high %, i think it would be better if it was a more gradual change.

Like if you fed on blood of the same type but lower, you'd get a slight reduction in your %, but it wouldn't just go "poof, you're no longer good at stuff."

But yes, 100% blood types are rare, and incredibly valuable, if you find one, stick that one in your dungeon ASAP.

Also, blood quality isn't as important for servants, since it's not a 1-1 conversion. a 100% servant will only gain like a 12-14% increase in power compared to a 1%. 100% blood is far more valuable for prisoners and the buffs they can give you.

Also, you can freely enthrall and kill servants as you please. if you need a servant for progression, just get whatever and replace them later.

I haven't really done much with Prisons as for the time being. Since i have so much free time on my hands after hunting for a 100% for what i want, i should put some rest to it, get a Prison up and learn about how to use that.

I'll continue to hunt for now. All i ask for is to have at least some form of higher chance or give me the option when making a new World, to choose Blood Quality settings.

Thanks for informing me about some things that i wasn't aware of. Such as Servant ratio and conversion for their Blood Quality. But it doesn't change i want my first Servant to be of the highest pedigree, and then i can probably just settle down after that. Gotta get my First Mate, as they say on the Ship, of the finest Quality. If i'm going to be any real decent Vampire, eh?

well, i would recommend going to dunley and searching for the wandering groups of nuns near the villages. i've found 3 100% scholars that way. They don't even fight back either, and the scholar buff is incredibly powerful.

I have seen them. But not even close to 50% yet. I'll visit that place again and ravage them poor Nuns for their tasty, tasty Blood...whenever it is 100%. The rest can leave safely.
