Can you grief players unopposed in this game?

My favorite thing to do in online pvp games is to grief, gank and pillage new players and make their gameplay as unpleasant as humanly possible, which also includes destroying peoples bases and take all their hard earned resources.

Rust was a perfect game for this type of psychopathic and antisocial behavior so I did play that game for some time and had alot of fun as my prey were crying on the microphone as I ruined their day, the problem is that the newbies I ganked tended to have friends whilst I didnt have any friends, which lead to me getting ganged up upon and raided frequently. I didnt like that.

So instead I went for MMO's and played on pvp servers, I'd rush to max level, get geared then spend the rest of my gametime ganking players in lower level zones even though I'd get no resources out of it other then satisfaction, making other people unhappy makes me happy. It's not so much that I am angry and bitter at the world and want to ventilate and take it out on innocent people, it's more that I just think it's fun - I mean that's what pvp'ing is all about, killing other players, most people find pvp to be fun activity granted that you are at the winning side, if killing other players were not universally deemed as fun we'd not have all these MOBA's , battle royales and online FPS games. So dont point your moral finger at me for engaging in pvp.

So is this possible in V Rising? To rush to max level then farm newbies and tear down their bases afterwards without them having a chance at fighting back?

If their Castle is powered by Blood Essence, you can't damage it or break in. There are no low level zones as such.

No my post is genuine. I have 150 hours gametime in rust and all of it went to griefing players with worse gear then me and blowing up their bases unopposed then take their loot.

I mean that's the point of the game. I was hoping V Rising was something similar, but that people couldnt retaliate by ganging up on me like they did in Rust

You could try playing on the hardcore pvp server, but I suspect you'll end up quiting.

I dont think engaging in pvp on a pvp server in a pvp game means that a person is lonely or sad.

Most people just think it's fun to pvp, myself included. Why do you think league of legends, fortnite, call of duty , valorant, CSGO, team fortress, rust has so many players? because they are all sad or lonely? I personally dont think so.

I think they just enjoy killing real players over NPC's and find the thrill of the chase fun.

in pve only servers you can block players spells from hitting bosses. The spells dont do damage but the status still works so you can freeze people. Ive already experienced people yelling over proximity and getting me killed by trolling

I have no idea how many wipes there were. It was a long time ago. It was a fun game where I was granted the tools and means to live out my urges within the legal framework of the game, better to live out my urges in a video game then in real life am I right.
