How do we throw stuff away?

I have so much plant fiber I have no place to put it all.
Even if I throw it on the ground outside my castle, it just stays there forever.
How do we get rid of stuff?

just drop it somewhere its just pressing pace on a item you want to be trown out and it will despawn after a while

There is a chest that can discard items. You need to build it. It may be locked at the beginning. But it can't discard everything. Only if item is salvagable.

i just have a boss mission where i need to kill one and he gives me the working table to salvage stuff. at least the tooltip says that. bosslevel is 26 or 27. i dont recall exactly.

You get the ability to craft a "deconstruction bench" after defeating one of the bosses. It's a mimic chest called The Devourer.
