LOL..how to jump off cliff in tutorial??

Just after rising from coffin, my vamp suppose to jump off cliff to area below. I press the shift button but he just remains up top..not able to jump to below area. What gives? Total newbe)))

Shift - jump
Ctrl - special abilities wheel
Alt - emotes wheel

edit: Shift+W for "upwards" jumps.

Push shift and the direction you're heading. It's not just shift only. Tutorials are okay but need some work done still. So if the cliff is "up" Shift W and you're gonna jump off. You'll end up using this a lot in game, mostly when using shortcuts and/or tactical retreat.

Thanks...got it. Just changed my jump to the
space bar. Much easier.
