How to get better weapons after copper?

Seem to have hit a brick wall in terms of combat progression

There's a big gap after copper weapons. You can get blueprints to upgrade copper weapons, and that helps quite a bit. But beyond that the next step is iron, which you need to go to the big iron mine in Dunley to get.

Next step would be merciless weapons. Farm the elite Firecracker a bit. He drop them.

defeat the bosses til you can make explosives, then proceed to get iron weapons recipe from one of the bosses

Ignore combat levels even if they say " to low attack power" , you can still beat stuff. But kill the firecracker and break into the bandit stronghold and kill the iron boss
