V Rising on Mac
I understand that there is no native mac version but i was wondering if somebody has been able to get it to run using a sim or something similar?

I have parralels pro and even with maxed stats on my M1 Macbook pro im still unable to get it to run smoothly.

Just wondering if anybody has any help or solutions.

So.. it doesn't run smoothly on Parallels as far as performance goes, but it runs well otherwise? I mean.. graphic artifacts.. glitches? Is it just a performance problem? Are you using the latest Parallels 17? And have you tried CrossOver too?

The only way you're going to be able to play is via Geforce Now. It's a monthly subscription, but you can play every game in your library. Worth it imo for Mac usrs.

I have GeForce Now, I also have Boosteroid. It's absolutely false and this allows you to play every game in your library, you are limited to only games that are supported by these platforms, which is a short list compared to every game one might own.

Furthermore it's also false that this is the only way. Many non-DX12 games run on Mac via a multitude of options such as Parallels, CrossOver or Wine and its many user-friendly variants.

Oh great please let me know. If it's playable then I'd definitely buy it.

Also, on Parallels, can you clarify if you have the Macbook Pro M1, or is it an Intel Macbook Pro?

any update? I am also very interested!

Yes here's an update. It DOES work. Quite well too, though a bit laggy even on an M1 Max. I think this will improve over time with updates.

Here's a Reddit thread that confirms that it works on both CrossOver and Parallels. It seems to work better on CrossOver, although a little more effort is needed to set it up on CrossOver. The Reddit thread includes some instructions

Here's the game running on Parallels https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqMs5KjUdnU

Though it runs better on CrossOver.. if you follow the instructions above.
