Deleting private local server

Hi,

I made a local server, I did a terrible mistake while playing in the settings, now I'm stuck, tried to modify those settings but it doesn't do anything, the info are all wrong compared to what is in game.

So, I'd like to delete that save / server instead to start from scratch.

How do I do that?

Not sure if you mean an actual local server or just a local solo play, but saves are located at :
C:\Users\yourname\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Saves\v1
if on windows

Also, just to add to @naMelaK's comment, if you just delete the save your single player will still show up just with a red 'X' next to it.

In order to remove it fully from the list of playable games go to: C:\Users\yourname\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Settings

Open ServerHistory.json and remove the object representing the game you want to forget. This will look like:

Make sure you remove everything and don't forget the '{}' symbols and don't delete the wrapping brackets '[]'.

If you only have the one game you can also just delete everything in the file and the game should generate it again properly once you play again.

I also found how to edit server settings from the file thanks to that.
I hope they will add a game option to delete and modify the server (would be great on online servers too in case of events)

I did delete the savegame and i deleted the serverHistory file just to be sure but it still shows the server in the list with "Unknown Status" and i dont have a red X to remove it either like some people where mentioning. Any ideas? i mean its not the end of the world at least i know which ones are deleted but it will annoy me every time i log in :D

btw the serverHistory was regenerated with the server in it so i guess its a cloud thing

Finally I didn't delete my server, I just modified it, found how to allow TP with mats, increase clan size, harvest rates, etc.

But by trying deletion, I know I messed up a couple files which just gave me buggy server saves which made the game crash.

It works completely and I'm finally able to keep my 2 servers I want. (One was the default one but I edited it to have more Castle Hearts and the other has different time settings + is easier to be on just cause I like building things.)
