streamer mode?

does anyone know what this setting actually does as there no explination in setttings thanks

Normally when you hit escape in game it shows your connection info on the left, streamer mode probably hides that information, and perhaps similar information on the server select/setup screen. Streamer mode in most games means it's hiding any personal information it can so viewers can't see it and join your game or whatever.
