"Fake" error? There's not supposed to be any fake errors. By the looks of it, your PC didn't have enough free RAM/VRAM (it doesn't specify which) to load the credits.
Cosmosia Jan 6, 2022 @ 11:20pm
The credits of the game is stored as an image file called "credits.png" in "credits/" directory. "credits.png" is a very long picture (its height is very large), so the developers could make us players feel like the game is playing the "credits" by just slowly moving the picture upwards.

The game got an exception "Could not load image u'credits/credits.png': error('Out of memory',)", which means the credits image is to large to be loaded to the memory of your computer. It could mainly be caused by:

1. Too many background programs are running. Some program could just take huge amounts of memory, for example, Chrome. You can open "Task Manager" to check it out.

2. The RAM is not large enough. Get a larger RAM stick.☺

Maybe you're all right, but one small issue: I use windows 10 and I have a lot of RAM (16 Gb) :pokercube:

16gb is the min people need nowadays for often computer use. Also many things can use up ram, if you have chrome for example that's a classic ram eater. Other games, big programs, or even just something having a memory leak can eat up the ram. Just because you have 16gb total doesn't mean you always have 16gb free.

Man, I don't have Vegas rendering videos, 40 Google Chrome tabs and other RAM consuming programs running when I'm playing games. And once again, I don't have Windows 8 on my computer.

The operating system doesn't matter. Windows 10 still uses a fair bit of memory on it's own regardless. But the point still stands that the program ran out of memory. I can't say what you did or didn't have open, I can only help you to understand what could cause the problem and how to potentially stop it happening again.

Wash your eyes with soap, the log says I'm supposedly running Windows 8 but I'm running Windows 10. Do you think a visual novel will eat up 6 or more gigabytes of RAM? Also, this error popped up after the ending.

bubble bursted but this is a real error
VRAM is not RAM
and running 40 chrome tabs is almost definitely your issue bud

quote from a stackexchange:
The problem is that you are using GetVersionEx to pick up the version info. GetVersionEx is fully deprecated in Win10. Calling GetVersionEx will always return major/minor of 6.2 or (in some cases 6.3). It will NEVER return the expected major/minor of 10.0.

good luck with your future endeavors of treating your hardware properly
