Smoke from fires
Hi Ivan,

Have you noticed that while the simulation is paused, the smoke from fires continues to move and dissipate anyway? Visually disconcerting because nothing should be moving, but...

I usually pause while the Calculator is running to make it faster and more accurate. The smoke, still moving, gets a bit choppy.

If you can pause the smoke as well, the Calculator may run just that much faster.

You are right. The fires get choppy when time speed changes. This is unfortunately due to the way Unity's particle system works. Particles don't change velocity after being emitted. Only the velocity of new particles changes.
I have to look for a way to change it. I will try pausing the smoke and see if it really helps with calculation speed
