It's not anime and it's not souls.

Gameplay is DMC / the old God of War games. Aesthetics are dark fantasy in the style of Berserk / Claymore, first of which was a heavy inspiration for Dark souls.

Watch some gameplay / previews on Youtube and decide for yourself whether you want to play it or not. If you want my thoughts, it is an incredible game and you should give it a try.

Worth playing if you liked the gameplay. And no anime style that "press x to continue" kind of story telling.
